In His revelation to St. John, Jesus invites the spiritually hungry . . .
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me.” Revelation 3:20
Jesus is painting a picture of what a relationship with Him is like. It’s like a meal where one sits down face to face and really gets to know the other person.
Sadly, in much of what passes for Christianity, we are satisfied with “snacks” of God and are often unwilling to take the time for the life-long “feast” with Jesus that moves us beyond our initial conversion into a deeper and more biding love-relationship with our Heavenly Father.
At Anglican Church of the Transfiguration, we want everyone to know Jesus in the fullest sense – through His life, death and resurrection. We teach the Bible as the living and inerrant Word of God so that people may come to know Jesus personally as their living Savior and Lord – and then press on to know Him more.
Like Jesus’ disciples who came to know and love Him, we also want to follow in the way of discipleship as people who not only hunger for and know God’s word, but who live it out in everyday life.
We hope you’ll join us as we worship God and seek by the power of the Holy Spirit to fully know and follow Jesus – the risen Christ who gave Himself for us.
