The Rev. Ben Howard
Rector
Originally from a small town in rural western Pennsylvania, Fr. Ben is a graduate of Houghton College (B.A. Religion and Bible) and Asbury Theological Seminary (M.A. Theological Studies).
Having moved to the Philadelphia area to work in Higher Education, Fr. Ben has been a part of Transfiguration since 2012. He was ordained to the Diaconate in 2018 and to the Priesthood in 2019. In 2020 he left his work in Higher Education to begin serving Transfiguration as the full-time Curate and was installed as rector on June 20, 2021. Fr. Ben lives in Phoenixville with his wife Kristy and their two daughters.

The Rev. Timothy Lent
Assisting Priest
Fr. Timothy Lent, Ph.D., was ordained a priest by the Rt. Rev. Thomas J. Kleppinger at the Church of the Incarnation in Quakertown, PA., on March 7, 1997. He is resident in the Diocese of the Resurrection (ACC). Fr. Timothy supports his ministry by teaching religious studies and theology at a number of Catholic universities in the greater Philadelphia area. In particular, he enjoys teaching medical ethics to nursing students.
Fr. Timothy is the author of Viktor E. Frankl Anthology, which was endorsed in 2006 in the website of the Viktor Frankl Institute of Vienna, Austria. He writes articles on the relationship between religion and various disciplines in the humanities.
